We are not going to suppress our survival instincts just because you are offended that girls are afraid to walk alone at night.

If you have a problem with our fear, take it up with your fellow men. After all, women are not responsible for the statistic that 1 in 6 women will be the victim of an attempted or completed rape. We’d have no need to be wary if this were not the case. There are certainly many good men out there, but it is the bad men who are ruining it for you, not women.

Stop accusing women, and feminists in particular, of hating men just because we resent that we have been forced to go about life more cautiously than you have to.

Please note that I’m not excusing your phobia of rape (Yes at a .001% likely hood of a woman getting raped it is a phobia). I’m merely stating a fact. If “99% of rapists are men” is even true, 99% of the male population are not. There are a few, sick, fucked up people that rape woman. The vast majority of men are not rapists. I didn’t blame women. I merely stated the fact. Being a man doesn’t make me a rapist. It doesn’t make my male friends rapists. My acquaintances. You’re applying the acts of few to the many. How is this equality? How does accusing me of targeting women with this even apply? I didn’t say “Get this straight women, Male doesn’t equal rapist”. I simply said they’re not the same. Why do I deserve to get torn into for stating a fact?

1 in 6 women are victims of attempted or completed rape. What exactly about that number says to you that women have a .001% chance of being raped? Try 17% No, it is not “close enough,” and it is not a “phobia” to be worried about rape.

No one is accusing every man of being a rapist. The fact that women are more cautious around men is not an accusation, but a mere precaution. We know that men are not all rapists. Most men are fantastic people! Probably! I guess! I mean, most of the ones I know are great!

You will kindly refrain from making up numbers about rape. You will kindly refrain from assuming it is so much less prevalent than it is. You will kindly get your men’s rights attitude DAFUQ outta here and maybe replace your resentment of our fear with a bit of sympathy for our unequal status quo.
